While there isn’t any official confirmation on this just yet, but word is going around the Internet that the impressive china xpPhone, which is currently powered by Windows XP, might have a newer version in the near future and it could sport Windows 7. Based on the rumor, some of the new versions will be up to 7-inches in terms of display size, sport hard disks and also Windows 7. Pricing could range from $500 to $700. Will they call it the 7Phone if it’s powered by Windows 7?

Anyhow, as you can see by the image the new HiPhone F320 has a dial-wheel instead of a click-wheel like the Nano, but its just for style because the numerical keys work via push-button.

On top of the awkward design, the iPhone F320 has a 2.6-inch touchscreen, a 1.3-megapixel camera, makes use of the quadband GSM system, can playback MP3 or MP4 files, and also has FM and bluetooth. Sadly there is no information about the price of this iPhone clone disaster.

Yesterday, a decision was made by the ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) that could change the mobile world as we know it. This ratification of the A/153 ATSC Mobile DTV Standard “defines the technical specifications necessary for broadcasters to provide new services to mobile and handheld devices using their digital television transmissions”.

Does this mean that every mobile could be capable of playing digital TV? Maybe. Truth be told, I do most of my television watching on Hulu or other Internet TV places. Still, the idea of being anywhere with a mobile phone and channel surfing appeals to me, I guess.

It might be quite weird if a person had a wish that cell phones should only be made for calling and nothing else five or ten years ago. But now, this tendency has become popular among a great number of cell phone users, especially those business runners who take more interest in time saving by making “it” simple. The invention of watch cell phones has undoubtedly won the applause of these customers.

The gadget supports two basic features for people’s daily life—giving time and making calls. The watch cell phones, unlike those bulky celluar phones, are small and are thus are easy to carry. They have a limited number of buttons and smaller screens in comparison with those popular in the market, because their target purchasers do not need excessive number of buttons which are of no use to them. Seldom do they have the need to use the large screens for message sending (they just need to make a call which is more efficient when necessary), surfing online, or watching video.

This kind of phones support dozens of ring tones. However, due to its small size, there are some limitations. For example, owners cannot dial numbers as they like as with other cell phones. You might need to find out a target cell phone number from its phone number listings, because it is harder for you to get used to the buttons compared with cell phones that have with many buttons.

This sort of defect however, can be removed as cutting edge technologies are applied to IT products continuously. It is sure that watch cell phones will obtain greater share among users. In Tokyo, a forerunner of consumer electronics product trends, many people have already appeared in the public wearing a cool watch cell phone on the wrist.

Because that watch cellular phones are developed to be worn on the wrist, accessories like wireless earphones get necessary for users. Thus Bluetooth is applied to the small device in order to meet the goal. As the small phones don’t have many functions, they require less power than average mobile phones

In recent days bans on using cell phones in driving have been widely debated both online and offline. It is claimed that most of car accidents are caused by the use of cell phones and the drinking of alcohol. The critical role alcohol plays in car accidents has been recognized for a long time and official bans on driving after drinking alcohol have been implemented|performed} in most parts of the globe. But cell phones conversation in driving, however, is not banned officially worldwide until now. However, the rising cases of car accidents due to cell phone conversations has raised much attention to the issue of banning the use of cell phones among drivers in the U.S.. As for me, I really agree that it is not a good idea to talk on cell phones in driving cars, but I don’t think it essential to forbid mobile phones in driving.

It is commonly recognized that cellular phone conversations are a significant distraction for those who are driving, but similarly, people know well about the potential danger talking on cell phones when driving. I mean, it all boils down to whether we are willing to risk lives to use cell phones in driving or not. For cautious, they would definitely reject to answer the coming phone calls in driving, or to pull over immediately and stop the car to reply to the phone call. For those don’t care much about dangers, they are aware of the risk of course, but they tend to risk their lives on luck. “Yes, it happens every day that cell phone conversations result in car accidents, but I won’t be that bad luck to encounter these accidents” thoughts like this are deeply rooted in the hearts of these people. Consequently, they choose to ignore the menace and talk on mobile phones as they like.

On the one hand, the prohibition on cellular phones in driving may facilitate to minimize car accidents, but only on the condition that people are willing to observe the banning policy. That is, even there are bans on mobile phones among drivers, people may ignore the rules and continue to use cell phones in driving, just like those who ignore the bans and drive after drinking alcohol—they just don’t care about tickets. Surely, like before, they don’t think they are ‘lucky’ enough to encounter car accidents just because of cell phone conversations.

On the other hand, the prohibition may annoy those who need to use cellular phones either for work or for personal stuff. Among this group of people, while some are luck-adventurers, most try hard to figure out every possible way to avoid car accidents. For example, buy hands-free cellular phone accessories like earphone with microphone, Bluetooth, etc. In this sense, bans on mobile phones in driving are just unnecessary as serious people can find means to protect themselves from car accidents in using cell phones. What would people think when they missed the urgent call when he is driving just because of the stupid bans? The call may mean a job chance or a business turning point! Besides, since cell phones become popular among the masses, it would be hard for people to give up their habit of replying to incoming phone calls on time. They would be even more distracted by the phone calls if have to refuse to answer them as they may keep thinking about stuff like where the call come from, what the phone call matters, etc.

In short, I hold the idea that bans on mobile phones are not a smart choice to avoid car accidents. What we are supposed to do is to raise the awareness of the danger of using mobile phones randomly while driving. And the crucial point is: people should learn to take good care of

Cell phones have been extremely popular for many years. The merits cell phones create are endless and users love using this communication gadget to the degree that most cannot shake off it. For instance, the US president Obama tried hard to persuade his security staff to allow him to take his BlackBerry to the white house, which implies his close relationship with the cell phone. On the other hand, debates on the possible menace rising from using cell phones have been more and more common nowadays. Though there are no standard critera about the real dangers a cell phone can cause on users, to lead a safe life, we’d better take actions to get rid of the dangers as early as possible.

Stay far way from cell phones

When you step out, it is common that that you must take your handset in your pocket or in your handbag. But when you are in your work place or at home or stay indoors, put your cell phone in a position where you won’t be hurt too badly by the radiation but also won’t miss your coming phone calls and messages. Never keep it near your body if feasible. For example, place it in your desk drawer when you are in your office. Before you go to bed, don’t keep your cell phone next to you if you need to keep your handset on.

Use headphone with mic

When it is discussed about cell phone radiation, the key point relates to the concern that people’s brain will be influenced by the radiation emitted by cell phones. To minimize the menace, a headphone with mic may really help. This is no doubt the favorite choice for those who have to frequently use cell phones but have concerns on radiation. Normally handsets are sold with this accessory, but some are not. Fortunately, headphones are normally inexpensive and can be purchased at street stores or online marketplaces.

Use line phones instead of cell phones when possible

Despite that it may take you some time to find out the contact person you plan to call and dial the number, wire telephones are definitely a much better option in terms of radiation-free. Fifty years ago, no one would expect that handsets would be used so prevalently to the extent that land line phones become rarely touched as they are not as so easy to use compared with cell phones. It’s a little pathetic. People are sacrificing their safety for convenience. In fact it is only a matter of a few minutes to dial a number. Why risk your health for that trivial benefit? I think smart people would get the appropriate option.

Do not make phone calls when the handset is being charged

This controversial risk, however, has been extensively acknowledged by people all over the world. It is reported that handsets generate the most radiation when being charged, so it is better not to use handsets when they are being charged. Also, as it is reported that handsets with lower battery will create more radiation when being used, you need to keep your cell phone in full charge whenever possible. If you have to the handset when it is in the state of low battery, keep your phone conversation as succinct as you can

Gresso is another company for luxury phones. The cell phones Gresso make are made from a rare African Blackwood that is supposedly 200 years old. They company claims that no two phones are the same because no who trees are the same. Their main four collections are Avantegarde Skeleton, Avantegarde Gold, White Diamonds, Lady Diamond. Each has some variation of state of the art matertial, gold plating and diamonds.

Another recently announced phones is by Swiss watch-maker Ulysse Nardin. As their first handset, the Ulysse Nardin Chairman is what they call a luxury “hybrid smart phone”. So what features does a hybrid smart phone have to offer you ask? Well the 2.8 inch multi-touch display is not works as an interactive touch screen, it also offers finger print recognition sensor as a way to unlock the phone. According to unwiredview.com, the Ulysse Nardin Chairman will be available in five versions: Rose Gold, Rose Gold & Steel, Rose Gold & Blue, Steel & Blue and Stealth Black. And, as in the way of prohibitively expensive phones, the maker announced that only a limited number of them will be produced and released to the market a year. The more interesting feature if this phone is that it has a watch that utilizes kinetic energy developed by the phone’s mechanical watch’s moving rotor.

Vertu is current the most well known luxury phone company. Everybody who is anybody in Hollywood knows of this brand for it’s famous concierge function. According to Wikipedia, the most expensive model Vertu has ever released is the Signature Cobra, selling at US$310,000 or about 17,000. The most expensive regular model from Vertu is the Signature Diamond at US$88,000 or about 2,000. Other models carried by Vertu are as follows: Ascent, Constellation and Ascent Ti. The standard Ascent models come in many different colours, such as: Black, Brown, Red and Orange. The Special Edition models come in White, Azure Blue and Pink. The Summer Collection models come in Strawberry Red and White. Variations of the Ascent also include the RaceTrack Editions and Ferrari Edition. The reason for the hefty price tag is that all Vertu cell phones are made from very expensive or rare materials such as gold for the trim, sapphire for the mobile screen, rubies and cow leather. Plus, each mobile is hand-made in its factories in England.
If exclusivity was the only measure for a luxury cell phone, then the Black Diamond cell phone, originally conceived by Sony Ericson and designed by Jaren Goh’s design at a substantial price tag of $300,000 that is the winner. How exclusive is it? Only five of these are being made in globally!
If exclusivity was the only criteria for a luxury cell phone, then the VVS-1 price at a breath-taking $1.3 million, by designer Emmanuel Gueit’s,definitely, is the winner.
If hideousness, gaudy and full on tasteless bling was the only criteria for a luxury cell phone, then Motorola’s V220 special edition is the winner. At a price tag of $57,000, Austrian designer Peter Aloisson deserves an award for this 18-carat horror that is studded with thousands of precious stones.

Last but not least, Nokia’s 8800 Arte and 8800 Sapphire Arte are worth listing here. This is a phone which combines elegance with unique functionality. One cool quality on the Nokia Arte cell is that incoming calls can be silenced gracefully with the “turn-to-mute”, a function which allows owners to quiet their phone simply by turning over the mobile, screen-side down.
Other than companies which creates luxury cell phones, there are also companies which provides the service of customizing your regular cell phone to become the ultimate luxury phone. amosu offers his luxury customization company using diamonds and gold to turn any phone into an expensive looking piece of art
